As the company scaled operations across India, managing inventory transfers between warehouses and outlets required a faster, more scalable approach to E-Way Bill generation and compliance.

Scaling Inventory Movement Across a Rapidly Expanding Store Network
As Chaayos expanded across India, generating E-Way Bills for inter-state and intra-state inventory movement became increasingly operationally intensive.
The existing workflow relied on manual processes and third-party licensed tools, creating delays, inefficiencies, and unnecessary operational costs. As dispatch volumes increased with store expansion, managing E-Way Bills across regions became harder to scale reliably.
The fragmented process also limited operational visibility and added friction to time-sensitive inventory movement workflows.
SOLUTION
Automating E-Way Bill Workflows with GST APIs
To modernize logistics operations, Chaayos integrated Sandbox’s GST E-Way Bill APIs directly into its internal operations platform.
The integration enabled teams to generate, cancel, update, and consolidate E-Way Bills in real time without relying on external software or manual workflows. Following a successful proof of concept in the North region, the solution was expanded across all India operations.
By embedding API-driven automation directly into existing systems, Chaayos streamlined the entire E-Way Bill lifecycle through a single scalable infrastructure layer.
